Karissa Thuy

Karissa is a multidisciplinary artist working across dance, design, and music. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman's University in 2020, she is now pursuing an MFA in Dance at University of Hawaii. Her work entangles themes such as dark folklore, the uncanny, and eerie aesthetics to craft experiences that unsettle, captivate, and reveal what lingers in the shadows. Whether through movement, sound, or design, she seeks to create art that disturbs the familiar and embodies the strange beauty of the otherworldly.
